I hope this has provided enough information for you.

                            Many thanks

1. We want the children in our care to be able to develop social skills, interacting comfortably with both adults and children.

2. The Pre School in based in a very large church hall, which is internally split into 2 sections. One section is for 3 years plus, and the other section if for 2 - 3 year olds. We feel that this benefits the children as their educational / emotional skills are so varied at these different stages of their lives.

3. We aim to provide intellectual stimulation and space where children are encouraged to develop a wide range of physical and intellectual skills

4. Enables children to express their fears, needs and joys with confidence in the knowledge that they will be recognised.

5. Encourages children to develop emotionally, socially, physically and intellectually

The nursery creates an environment which....

We value the individuality of each child irrespective of race, gender, religion, ability or culture, therefore encouraging the children to respect the fact that people are different. We promote positive thoughts and images throughout the Pre-School environment.

In our nursery all children feel secure and valued. We pride ourselves on our interaction with the children, and their parents/carers. All of our children are allocated a Key Person. Someone that they can spend time with, and that is responsible for their development. On a daily basis we are looking at the childrens development, which we record in the Online Learning Journals,  available for you to view through the Tapestry App, where you can also contribute to your child's learning journal.

The children in our care follow a wide range of activities playing indoors and outside in our secure garden. We have received a "Silver" Eating Award from Harlow Council, and we are also classed as "Good" with Ofsted. Please feel free to visit their website. www.ofsted.gov.uk. Please search on our details EY428389. We take funded and non funded children, and have recently started a paid for lunch club on a Monday, Tuesday and Thursday for children who are in all day. The Pre School wants to provide high quality care and education that this gives a strong framework for the effective learning and development of young children.

Now, a bit about what we hope to achieve with the children....
